High-Severity Violations by Restaurant, April 18–24, 2026
The Worst of the Week
Nikki's Place at 742 W. Carter St. in Orlando accumulated 10 high-severity violations. Inspectors cited the restaurant for having no employee health policy, for employees failing to report illness symptoms, for food sourced from unapproved or unknown suppliers, for inadequate shellfish traceability records, and for failing to follow parasite destruction procedures for fish and other proteins.
Baires Grill at 8050 International Dr., Suite 150, steps from the hotel and attraction corridor, matched that count with 10 high-severity violations of its own. Inspectors found no employee health policy, improper handwashing technique, food from unapproved sources, food described as in poor condition or adulterated, and failure to follow parasite destruction procedures.
Three more restaurants came in at nine high-severity violations each.
Crocante Restaurant at 4311 E. Colonial Dr. was cited for no employee health policy, employees not reporting illness symptoms, improper handwashing technique, food from unapproved sources, and food contact surfaces that were not properly cleaned or sanitized.
Sushi Hut Grill and Bar at 9938 Universal Blvd., Suite 108, near the Universal Orlando resort area, drew nine high-severity violations including no employee health policy, employees not reporting illness, improper handwashing, unapproved food sources, and failure to follow parasite destruction procedures, a particular concern for a sushi operation.

Name-Brand Restaurants on the List
The violations were not limited to smaller independent spots.
Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House at 9150 International Dr., a high-end chain drawing convention and tourist business, drew eight high-severity violations. Inspectors found the person in charge was not present or not performing duties, employees were not reporting illness symptoms, handwashing technique was improper, shellfish records were inadequate, and parasite destruction procedures were not followed.
Saltgrass Steak House at 8440 International Dr. was cited for four high-severity violations, including food not cooked to the required minimum temperature, food contact surfaces not properly cleaned or sanitized, no consumer advisory for raw or undercooked foods, and toxic substances improperly stored or used.
Outback Steakhouse at 6845 S. Semoran Blvd. drew eight high-severity violations, including no employee health policy, food from unapproved sources, inadequate shellfish records, unsanitized food contact surfaces, and no consumer advisory for raw or undercooked items.
Handwashing and Food Source Failures Across the Board
Improper handwashing was among the most repeated findings of the week. Zen Dumpling at 423 N. Alafaya Trl. was cited for both inadequate handwashing facilities and improper handwashing technique, alongside food contact surfaces not properly sanitized and food not cooked to the required minimum temperature, eight high-severity violations total.
Lotus Garden at 7536 Dr. Phillips Blvd., Suite 330 drew eight high-severity violations including food from unapproved sources, inadequate shellfish records, unsanitized food contact surfaces, and food not cooked to minimum temperature.
Hi 5 Yummy at 5683 Vineland Rd. was cited for six high-severity violations: no employee health policy, inadequate handwashing by food employees, food contact surfaces not properly cleaned, food not cooked to required minimum temperature, and no consumer advisory for raw or undercooked foods.
YH Seafood Clubhouse at 8081 Turkey Lake Rd., Suite 700 drew the fewest high-severity violations of the group, two, but inspectors noted the person in charge was not present or not performing duties and that food contact surfaces were not properly cleaned or sanitized.
Of the 12 restaurants flagged this week, at least five had no consumer advisory posted for raw or undercooked foods, meaning diners with no way of knowing they were ordering items that had not met minimum cooking temperatures.
