Overview

Nhrm Inc, a convenience store limited food service operation in Okeechobee, had one inspection on record on November 14, 2022, which resulted in five violations. The inspection identified hot-held foods maintained below the required 135°F — peanuts were measured at 131°F and breakfast sandwiches at 117°F — along with the absence of an employee health reporting policy. Additional violations included undated ready-to-eat roller grill items in the walk-in cooler, no written procedures for responding to vomit or diarrheal events, aerosol household insecticide stored in the back area, and missing test strips for quaternary ammonia sanitizer solutions. The establishment corrected the temperature control issue during the inspection by adjusting the hot-hold case thermostat and dating the roller grill items; test strips for sanitizer were ordered the same day.
