Comments: This industry visit is being conducted to document a verbal conversation to help assist the food establishment with compliance of recent food safety observations and continuing issues. Discussed with store management the steps taken and currently in place to handle the pest control concern which caused the Re-Inspection Summary Rating: Frequent Contracted Pest Control treatment services in place. Daily monitoring for evidence of activity taking place. Removing and cleaning surfaces when found with evidence of activity Steps taken to eliminate entry points into and in building. Outside vegetation being removed or trimmed away from building. Store management informed that if evidence of pest infestation is observed on the next scheduled inspection, a Stop-sale of all food items will be issued. Store management understands that prior to the next scheduled inspection if the department and the establishment agree, and the establishment chooses to remove all food items and place them in temporary storage containers outside of the establishment (such as Pods or trailers) and no longer is offering food items to the public, then the next scheduled inspection could consist of a Focused Inspection, to verify all food items have been removed from the facility and could extend the next scheduled inspection date. All Stop Use Orders issued on April 23, 2024 & May 10, 2024 inspections still remain is affect due evidence of rodent activity observed during this visit.
