Overview

Mapco #343 in Destin has been under active enforcement for pest infestation since February 2026. An initial focused inspection on February 20, 2026 documented live rodent activity in the building interior, prompting a stop-use order on food service equipment including soda dispensing and coffee service. A re-inspection on March 10, 2026 found the same rodent activity persisting, resulting in an additional stop-sale order on all food items. The facility is operating without a valid food permit and remains under a 14-day re-inspection cycle with escalating enforcement: if pest evidence is observed at the next inspection, a complete stop-sale of all food products will remain in effect until eradication is confirmed. The facility must contact the FDACS Business Center at (850) 245-5520 to request a written release inspection once corrections and pest control measures have been completed.
