Food establishment can visit https://foodpermit.fdacs.gov or contact the Business Center at (850) 245-5520 when corrections have been made and/or when required documents have been obtained to request food safety inspector visit for written release of equipment. Failure to comply with the request for written release may or will result in Administrative Action. Food establishment is required to provided finished test results for each of their ice machines. If satisfactory test results are not provided within 30 days, conduct a focused inspection and issue a Stop Use on the ice maker, a Stop Use on the bags and scoop used to package the ice and a Stop Sale on all packaged ice from that machine. If the establishment uses the ice from the machine for other reasons including self-serve soda machines or as a coolant, the establishment will need to obtain ice from another source until acceptable microbiological ice testing results have been provided to the food inspector.
