Comments: Foodborne illness complaint request # 5123989 This focused inspection is being conducted onsite to ensure food establishment is in compliance with the foodborne illness complaint. The establishment provided records of the food items delivered to the daycare on the date of the reported illness. Please see attachments. - Wheat Thins Crackers: Are received in boxes containing two pre-packaged, sealed bags, and the packages are delivered as received. - Carrots: Received fresh and peeled in 1-pound plastic bags within a cardboard box. The carrots are stored refrigerated in a temperature-controlled walk-in cooler. - Creamy Italian Dressing: Received in 1-gallon plastic containers. The establishment repackages the dressing into 16-ounce pint-sized containers for service. The repackaging area is equipped with a handwashing sink, gloves are provided, and employees are trained in proper handwashing techniques. All prepared food orders are labeled and then placed in plastic milk crates within the designated staging area of the walk-in cooler until delivery.

Records indicate that products were rejected by client and replaced on 0719/2024. Manager also stated that delivery truck freezer was replaced and walkin freezer onsite is being replaced at this time. Manager also provided a copy of walkin freezer temperature monitoring records for July 2024. Spoke with complainant about findings and corrective actions taken.
