SEMINOLE, FL. A state inspector visiting Wok N Roll at 10525 Park Blvd on September 9, 2026 found that food was not being cooked to the minimum required temperature, a violation that puts every customer who ordered that day at direct risk of consuming live pathogens.

That was one of six high-severity violations documented during the visit. The restaurant was not closed.

What Inspectors Found

1HIGHFood not cooked to minimum temperatureActive pathogen risk
2HIGHParasite destruction procedures not followedParasite survival risk
3HIGHFood contact surfaces not properly cleaned/sanitizedCross-contamination risk
4HIGHImproper hand and arm washing techniquePathogen transfer risk
5HIGHNo consumer advisory for raw/undercooked foodsVulnerable customers uninformed
6HIGHToxic chemicals improperly stored or labeledAcute poisoning risk

The undercooking violation sits at the top of the list because its consequences are immediate and direct. Inspectors noted food was not reaching required minimum internal temperatures, meaning any bacteria present in poultry or other proteins survived the cooking process and reached the plate.

The parasite destruction finding compounds that picture. Certain fish, pork and wild game require specific freezing or cooking protocols to kill parasites including Anisakis and Trichinella. Without those steps, the parasites reach the customer intact.

Inspectors also cited improperly cleaned food contact surfaces, a condition that allows bacteria from one food item to transfer to the next. Cutting boards, prep tables and utensils that are not properly sanitized between uses become a continuous transfer route across an entire service period.

Toxic chemicals were found improperly stored or labeled. That violation means cleaning agents or other chemical compounds were in a position where contamination of food or food surfaces was possible, either through mislabeling or proximity.

The remaining two violations, improper handwashing technique and the absence of a consumer advisory for raw or undercooked items, each carry their own weight. Improper technique means employees went through the motion of washing hands without eliminating pathogens. The missing consumer advisory means customers who are pregnant, elderly, immunocompromised or very young had no warning that undercooked food was being served.

What These Violations Mean

The undercooking violation is the one that connects most directly to acute illness. Salmonella in poultry requires an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit to be destroyed. When food does not reach that temperature, the bacteria survive in sufficient numbers to cause infection. The symptoms, fever, severe abdominal cramping and prolonged diarrhea, can last a week or more and send vulnerable people to the hospital.

The parasite destruction failure is a slower but equally serious risk. Anisakis, a parasitic roundworm found in certain fish, causes anisakiasis, a condition that can mimic appendicitis and requires endoscopic removal of the worm in serious cases. The required prevention is straightforward: freeze fish to specific temperatures for a set period before serving it raw or undercooked. When that step is skipped, the parasite arrives at the table alive.

Improperly sanitized food contact surfaces create a cross-contamination problem that is invisible to customers. A cutting board used for raw chicken that is not properly cleaned before being used for vegetables carries Salmonella or Campylobacter directly onto food that will never see additional heat. The September inspection at Wok N Roll found that these surfaces were not being cleaned and sanitized to standard.

The chemical storage violation is the category that can produce the fastest and most severe outcome. An unlabeled or misplaced chemical compound near food prep areas can cause acute poisoning with no warning to the person consuming the contaminated food.

The Longer Record

Wok N Roll: High-Severity Violations by Inspection

Sep 20266 high-severity violations. Restaurant remained open.
Feb 20265 high-severity violations.
Oct 20253 high, 1 intermediate violations.
Feb 20256 high, 2 intermediate violations.
Jul 20245 high, 2 intermediate violations.
Feb 20248 high, 1 intermediate violations.
Oct 20239 high, 3 intermediate violations.
Jun 20233 high, 0 intermediate violations.
Dec 202211 high, 2 intermediate violations.

The September 2026 inspection was not an outlier. State records show Wok N Roll has accumulated 180 total violations across 15 inspections on record, and every single inspection in the available history produced high-severity citations.

The facility has never been emergency-closed. That fact sits alongside a record that includes 11 high-severity violations in a single December 2022 visit, 9 high-severity violations in October 2023, and 8 high-severity violations in February 2024. The numbers have fluctuated but the category has not: every inspection has found conditions serious enough to warrant a high-severity citation.

The February 2025 inspection found the same number of high-severity violations as September 2026, six, along with two intermediate violations. Seven months later, in October 2025, the count dropped to three. Seven months after that, it was back to five. The pattern is not one of correction followed by relapse. It is one of persistent elevation.

Wok N Roll remained open after the September 9, 2026 inspection, with all six high-severity violations on the record.
