It is unlawful for any person to remove, use, or dispose of such detained or embargoed article or processing equipment hy sale or otherwise without such permission in accordance with 500.172 (1) Florida Statutes. Specifically, observed that establishment did not registered as a food facility with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). o

Specifically, observed in the retail area multiple bags of repackaged star anise lacking labels. Operator stated that they ran out of labels for said product. Said bags were removed from the retail area and operator state that will have them labeled when the labels are received. Repacked products lacking labels is a repeat citation from the report of the previous inspection conducted on June 29, 2022. o 117.20(b) Citation Description: Adequate screening or other protection against pests not provided. 21 CFR 117.20(b)(7) Observation: Specifically, observed wide gap in the front metal exit door that lead to the retail and storage areas of prepackaged food products. o 117.20(b) Citation Description: Sufficient space not provided for placement of equipment or storage of materials as necessary for the maintenance of sanitary operations and the production of safe food. 21 CFR 117.20(b)(1) Observation: Specifically, in dry storage area between bathroom and cheese cutting room observed pallets of prepackaged foods and bulk flaxseed bags too close to the wall to allow for proper cleaning and inspection of said area. This is a repeat citation from the report from the previous inspection conducted on June 29, 2022. o 117.201(a) Citation Description: Food establishment has not submitted the required qualified facility attestation to the FDA. 21 CFR 117.201(a) Observation: Specifically, observed that operator has not submitted the required qualified facility attestation to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). o Print Date: 6/12/2023 Page 1 of 3 117.37(a) Citation Description: Hand-washing facilities not designed to ensure that an employees hands are not a source of contamination of food, food-contact surfaces, or food-packaging materials. 21 CFR 117.37(e) Observation: Specifically, in the processing area where ready-to-eat cheese is processed observed that the paper towel roll was not placed in a paper towel holder to prevent contamination of the paper. In addition, there was no soap and no hand sanitizer in the hand-washing station in said area. Lack of soap and hand sanitizer is a repeat citation from the report from the previous inspection conducted on June 29, 2022.
